To join the Grand Prairie Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association, you must complete the Citizen Police Academy (CPA) course sponsored by the Grand Prairie Police Department.  After graduation, you will be an alumni and eligible for membership in the organization.  Membership is only $15 per year for single alumni.  Family members that have graduated the CPA Program can purchase a family membership at $20.

What does membership get for me?

• Continued insight into the inner workings of the Grand Prairie Police Department.

• Ability to get to know sworn and civilian staff.

• Monthly fellowship with other GPCPAAA members.

• Participate in volunteer opportunities as a GPPD Special Event Volunteer. 

• Act as a conduit between our law enforcement and the community to promote a community policing philosophy.

• Work with other GPCPAAA members to raise funds for the Annual Police Department Banquet and Police Department Programs that benefit our community.
