It is with great pleasure that the Grand Prairie Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (GPCPAAA) hosted the 9th Annual Grand Prairie Police Awards Banquet in February 2020. This annual event recognizes the men and women of our police department for outstanding service in the line of duty.
The 2020 banquet was a huge success, made possible only by the generosity of local businesses, caring citizens and our tireless volunteers.
We ask you to please join us as we once again honor these deserving Officers for their service to the City of Grand Prairie by making a donation for next year's event. There are many ways you can contribute. We welcome you to sponsor the event with a cash donation, make an in-kind donation for use in our silent auction or donate door prizes. Your support will help ensure our police family is properly recognized for their commitment to the community in which they serve. In the event our proceeds exceed the cost of this year's banquet, the GPCPAAA will utilize those additional funds to further support the Grand Prairie Police Department through future awards programs or other needs of the department.
The GPCPAAA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization comprised of graduates of the Grand Prairie Police Department's Citizen Police Academy. This dedicated team of individuals offers support to the police department by volunteering their time and efforts for a wide variety of events where needed, allowing for better utilization of departmental resources.
