The Grand Prairie Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association donated the funds to assist with the planning and execution of the first Grand Prairie Police Car, Truck and Bike Show.  Proceeds from the event benefited the Children First Counseling Center, a local non-profit organization dedicated to counseling families and young ones who have been victimized by crime.

This was a family-friendly event that was open to the public. Anyone with a classic car, truck or motorcycle, was able to enter the competition for $25.00.  There were approximately 200 entries with 34 classes and 56 awards.

The event was held on Sunday, April 29th from Noon-5:00 P.M. on the lawn located between the Summit Active Adult Center and the Grand Prairie Public Safety Building located on Arkansas Lane.
